Cannon St.

Busy now with city slickers and suits having liquid lunches to help them with their important decision making. No time to hang around of course.

The original pub The Cannon was knocked down in August 2007. We will miss the old sign saying 'no circle line pub crawlers allowed'  in the window of the door. Which we of course ignored - and seemingly if you did ignore it they would still serve you anyway!

Location: Pubs:

1. The Banker NOT SATURDAY

2. The Slug & Lettuce

3. Deacons

4. The Cannon - KNOCKED DOWN

The Banker: 'T'

A short trek this place is very welcoming (picture below with the manager sitting with us) and has pleasant views of the River Thames from its indoor balcony! Please note before you take the walk down to it there is a sign with opening times on it before get all the way to the pub. Directions are come out of the tube station on the main road, turn left and take the first left down a road heading towards the back of the railway station towards the river. Its right at the bottom.

Deacons: Closest
We have not tried this bar. It's next to the Slug and Lettuce - well before you get to the Slug & Lettuce actually.
